From the Coach guide
Shorter and slower than an easy run.
A short, very easy run after a hard day.
What it is for
A recovery run adds time on your feet the day after a hard session, without adding stress.
How to run it
Keep it short and slower than your easy pace. Stop if your legs hurt.
Why plans use it
Plans put one after a quality session or a long run. This is coaching practice. Coach does not claim it makes you recover faster.
Not the same as
Rest day: no run at all. Take the rest day if you feel run down.
